The Washington Post and Washingtonian Magazine announced this week that Presidential Restaurant Group’s third Washington, DC restaurant “DECLARATION” is set to open this fall in the warehouse-modernist 2030 8th Street at Atlantic Plumbing building in Shaw. Thanks for the press!
The friendly, farm-to-table cuisine at Declaration will include gourmet artisan pizzas, pasta and fresh, creative salads. The restaurant will be a 1,776 square foot tribute to founding fathers Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, who worked together to draft the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Like restaurants LINCOLN and Teddy & The Bully Bar, Declaration’s interior design and decor includes interesting touches that pay homage to both Presidents, while introducing fun and little-known facts about this period of American history. Located in bustling Shaw within walking distance of the 9:30 Club, Declaration will be your go-to!
We look forward to sharing more details, menus and photography of the space at DECLARATION, set to open this Fall. Read more in the Washingtonian’s article DC’s Next Presidential Themed Restaurant or in the Washingtonian Post 1,776 Square Foot Declaration to Honor Jefferson, Adams.
